Keratin straightening is a healthy treatment for your hair. It is not a chemical treatment. 4Hair is made mostly from Keratin and Amino Acids. Your hair is partly made of Keratin and it is the Keratin that gets fused into your hair. 4Hair is low in Formaldehyde. You definitely want to stay away from high Formaldehyde products, but remember, ALL Brazilian Keratin straightening products have some Formaldehyde. A popular local brand that contains no Formaldehyde does not allow stylists to advertise it as a straightener. They call it a smoother as it does not do the entire job and does not last very long. |
